This period piece (roughly 1997 - 2003) is based on the true life story of The Wonder TwinZ aka "The Nice GuyZ" (Two HipHop DJs) who made their mark as part of the starting line-up of on-air talent for Sirius Satellite Radio, publishers of a HipHop magazine, and tour DJs for the Grammy Award winning HipHop group, Naughty By Nature.
The story shows their comical journey to make it in the HipHop music industry. Driving around the country DJing at various parties, hooking up with hot college girls, and trading mixtapes for inflated gas receipts was just not enough for this DJ Duo. They had dreams and aspirations of finding their place in the fast-paced HipHop music scene.
After meeting DR. X in the parking lot of Wendy's, the Nice GuyZ find themselves behind the microphones & turntables hosting their own Pirate Radio show from a living room in the middle of Queens, New York. Although a great opportunity to have, they do not stop there. The story continues to place the Nice GuyZ in situations that one can only laugh at as they continue to leave their mark in the music industry.
